Our Mission
To implement the first free telemedicine platform in the U.S. that connects volunteer physicians to patients beyond all geographical, fiscal, and logistical barriers.
The Need
31.6 million people lack health insurance in America.
More than half of this population report delaying medical care out of concerns for cost.
Inadequate access to healthcare exacerbates health inequity, leading to higher mortality and preventable suffering in marginalized and underserved communities.
Existing free clinics are overwhelmed.
While telemedicine cannot replace in-person medical care, it can be a crucial supplement to it for the millions who cannot access adequate healthcare.
Our platform is the first effort to utilize this potential of telehealth to connect volunteer physicians to patients on a national scale.

Hermes at the UN
Hermes recently attended the UN General Assembly as part of SDG Action Weekend in New York City! Our wonderful representatives were able to meet with the President of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly and many other international delegates to the UN. In their words, "Health equity is truly a global issue and it was very meaningful to be able to share our story with people from all around the world."
